Your Vaccination Status

We want to remind you that Goodwill Northern Michigan is offering all of our employees a $75 Meijer gift card incentive for being vaccinated – even if you were vaccinated prior to joining Goodwill! You just need to provide proof of vaccination to Human Resources, and the gift card will be mailed to your home address that we have on file.    

You are receiving this message because our records indicate that your current COVID-19 vaccination status is currently unknown with Goodwill Northern Michigan Human Resources.   

It’s important for us to know your vaccination status because the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has issued a new rule that applies to all employers with 100+ employees, including us. The new order is called COVID-19 Vaccination and Testing Emergency Temporary Standard or ETS for short. In the coming weeks, Goodwill Northern Michigan will be taking the necessary steps to comply with the new rule by December 6th, 2021. The ETS will require all employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19, or be tested on a weekly basis and have a negative test before coming to work. Look for additional information coming soon on how Goodwill plans to comply with the new order.

As we prepare, it’s important that Goodwill Human Resources knows your vaccination status. It’s easy to do! If you haven’t done so already, send proof of vaccination directly to our Human Resources department at hr@goodwillnmi.org. A photo or scan of your vaccine card is easiest. (Proof of vaccination must include name, date of birth, type of vaccine administered, dates of administration, and name of health care professionals or clinic sites administering the vaccine.)
