COVID-19 Vaccine Incentive
Goodwill Employees,
Throughout the pandemic, the health and safety of our employees, customers, clients, and volunteers has remained our top priority. We have implemented several proactive and preventative measures throughout our organization and are proud to have continued to provide critical services to our community throughout the pandemic.
The COVID-19 vaccine is free and easily available to everyone over the age of 5. We encourage all of our employees to receive the vaccine.
We are offering $75 in Meijer gift cards as an incentive to get vaccinated. For the two-part COVID-19 vaccines, you will receive $25 after the first dose, and an additional $50 after the second dose. For the single-dose COVID-19 vaccines, you will receive $75 after you receive the vaccine. Proof of vaccination in the form of a CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card is required to receive the incentive. A copy can be sent to hr@goodwillnmi.org.
Getting vaccinated is free and easy at the Meijer, Rite Aid, Costco, CVS, or Walmart nearest you. Doctors’ offices, health clinics, pharmacies, and county health departments have all worked together to make it easy to find and get the vaccine. You can visit www.vaccineFinder.org to find the location nearest you and make an appointment.
Northern Michigan’s largest hospital just went to red alert for the first time in November 2021 due to the alarming number of cases. Please continue to take the necessary precautions to prevent COVID-19 including washing your hands, social distancing, and staying home if you are sick.
