Goodwill is seeking a CFO who has a passion for the work of Goodwill Northern Michigan and our vision of a community where everyone has access to a safe and secure place to live, the nutritious food they need, and opportunities for empowering employment, so that all of us can thrive. This position is located in the beautiful resort town of Traverse City, Michigan and services 19 Northern Michigan counties.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the CFO will be responsible for leading Goodwill Northern Michigan’s treasury function, financial risk management, budgeting, capital deployment and strategy, investments, forecasting, financial statements, ROI analysis, KPI enhancement and tracking, and reporting key financial metrics to the Board of Directors. This is a key role in the success of the Goodwill organization and its ability to support the needs of our community.
The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of relevant experience, the ability and desire to lead and inspire a team, ability to manage multiple requests in a dynamic environment, and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite. A bachelor’s degree is a must and a master’s a plus. CPA designation is preferred but not required. The CFO will provide thoughtful and careful financial management and enjoy leading teams through change.

Compensation
Remuneration for this position is based on experience with a salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 per year. We offer competitive benefits that include a retirement plan with match, group health plan, dental, vision, life insurance, and paid time off.
