Housing Support Services
Goodwill’s Housing Support Services program provides goal oriented relationships with homeless, precariously housed and special needs individuals and families.
Professional assistance is provided in housing location services, planning, problem solving and referral services, all with the goal of program participant, locating, securing and maintaining permanent housing. They actively counsel on the rights and responsibilities of independent living, and coordinate aid through a variety of service models including in-home support so that program participants’ independent living needs are met and maintained.
Housing support services are provided to a wide of individuals and families including Goodwill guests formers guests, as well as recipients in housing programs such as Michigan Prison ReEntry Initiative, Foundation for Mental Health, Housing First and other emergency housing programs.
