Goodwill Inn History, Vision and Mission
The Goodwill Inn of Traverse City, the largest homeless shelter in Northern Michigan, provides the first line of defense for people who have lost their homes and are trying to build stable, productive lives.
The Inn has been in operation since 1979 and welcomes anyone who is homeless. Our new Goodwill Inn which opened December 19,2006 is a 80+bed facility for men, womens and families, with Pete's Place youth wing serving up to 9 youth 14 - 18 years of age.
Our Mission: To provide safe, supportive shelter to homeless adults and families. We instill hope through service and compassion, offering guests a path to rebuilding their lives.
